Neoss ProActive Edge implant is designed to ensure predictable stability in challenging clinical cases with only 1 - 2 drills.

The Implant Kit includes the Neoss ProActive Edge implant, Cover Screw, Healing Abutments in PEEK in two different sizes, and Healing Abutment Screw.

Outstanding primary stability
The Neoss ProActive® Edge implant has market-leading load-bearing properties*. The thread and pitch profile is designed for maximum bone-to-thread contact, and in combination with the tapered body, provides immediate feedback during placement.

Simplified drilling protocol using 1-2 drills
The implant and thread designs are directly matched with the twist drills for ultimate ease of use - in most cases, only one or two Neoss drills will be required to place the implant.

Technical specs

Conical flange and tapered implant body with extended threads and a narrowly rounded apex.

NeoLoc® , the one connection, same for all Neoss implants (SP, standard platform – ∅3.5 and wider).

When required, there is one Edge countersink for each implant diameter. Edge countersinks are marked with an ‘E’.

Double thread
The implants are ‘double threaded’ for fast insertion and additional stability in poor-quality bone.

Same tapered drills as used for ProActive® Tapered implants, marked with a ‘T’. The tapered design allows large drill steps.

Commercially Pure Titanium Grade IV.

The Implant Kit includes Implant, Cover Screw, Healing Abutments in PEEK in two different sizes, and Healing Abutment Screw.

Screw Taps
The thread cutting and forming the design of the implant acts as a screw tap, there are no specific screw taps for the ProActive® Edge implant.

The Neoss ProActive® surface is created by a multistage blasting, etching, and super hydrophilicity treatment. The surface roughness is Sa 1.0μm over the fully threaded part of the implant and a reduced, Sa <0.4μm, over the flange (~2 mm) of the implant.
